Curious Nomad Travel provided elite customer service for our Greek getaway.  

The team helped us plan an excursion around the island of Crete with our own personal guides. 

Overall, we could not have asked for a more authentic Greek experience. Our only regret is that we did not book more activities and excursions through them. We have recommended Curious Nomad Travel to friends and family and have even started discussions on our next adventure with them.

Ashley, teaming with her partner who lives in Crete, planned and executed an itinerary tailored to us. It was magical; the places we stayed, the places we ate and visited, and a knowledgeable guide and expert driver who made everything so efficient and an excellent use of our valuable time in Crete. 

We did not want the touristy areas and attractions and Ashley and her partner got us to special Greek places with authentic Greek people. We’ll be back to Greece and we will definitely use Curious Nomad Travel again.

Each day was a new adventure.  The menu of unique options and activities throughout the trip allowed for a full immersion in the culture and natural beauty of Greece.  These experiences were varied and allowed for such an appreciation of the beautiful people and landscape of Crete.  

Curious Nomad Travel created a custom itinerary incorporating art, exercise, adventure, history, music, and fun!  I will never forget the hidden surprises we enjoyed along the way.  The unique hikes, secret sails, swimming in the cool waters of the Lybian Sea, sharing fresh and delicious meals with regional food and wines.  Picnics, private museum tours,  yoga, a sunrise hike.  

Our local guides were fun, engaging and flexible.  The accommodations were lovely, unique, warm and welcoming. Our transportation throughout was seamless and luxurious.    Experiencing the history and culture of Greece through Curious Nomad Travel allowed for a trip of a lifetime.  I left this adventure longing to return.  Thank you Ashley!

I had the privilege and joy to travel to Crete with Ashley Guyton, owner and founder of Curious Nomad Travel, for a group yoga retreat she organized.

She put together an itinerary that allowed us to not only come together as a group but also experience authentic Crete in a fun fashion.  When changes needed to occur, she handled them with such grace, providing great alternatives. I had the opportunity to arrive a week early and Ashley organized the best accommodations and personalized tours. 

Everything about the trip was first class.  By being with her the week prior to the trip, I got to experience how much she joyfully pours into the planning to make it both a seamless and memorable experience for her friends and clients. I made so many wonderful memories that I can’t wait for Ashley to plan my return trip to Crete.

I had the great fortune of celebrating my 60th birthday in Crete while on a Curious Nomad tour. 

My birthday dinner was one for the memory book…Greek dancers, amazing musicians, a fabulous feast, and all together magical night with new and old friends!
